The Year Of Revival

DAY 3 OF 7

It is about the greatness of God, not the significance of man. God made man small and the universe big to say something about himself.

― John Piper

I recently saw an Instagram post from a friend of mine who was visiting Alaska. Now this friend isn’t remotely following Jesus. He is actually about as far from a Christian as I can imagine. But he said in this particular post that seeing the vastness of the wilderness in Alaska made him feel an overwhelming sense of his utter smallness. I believe the vastness of creation gives even the most ardent non-believer an unavoidable glimpse of God’s unmatched grandeur.

Jesus has been given a throne of exaltation over all of creation. His creation and kingdom are unfathomable.

I believe the fruit of true revival will be people talking about Jesus—not revival. True revival results in the exaltation of the Gospel-Author over the eloquence of the gospel-presenter.

Pray for a revelation of the greatness of God. Pray for an awakening among his church to the awe-inspiring greatness of our creator.

About this Plan

The Year Of Revival

Revival can be one of the most misunderstood and over-used terms in the Christian language today. Ultimately the revival of the church starts with you. When you become self-lit in your passion for Jesus, you infect the world around you. This year God is going to something different in your life. Your future will be greater than your past. Revival is coming. Get ready.
