Day Six: Deuteronomy 33-Judges 9
Joshua is perhaps one of the most exciting histories, detailing the Conquest of Canaan. Joshua’s war against the Nephilim bloodlines inhabiting Canaan is worthy of noting (the people who had giants among them are the ones “devoted to destruction). This isn't indiscriminate bloodshed--God has a bone to pick with demonic forces. We should also keep in mind that the inhabitants of Canaan were worse than the Nazi's. They were horrible humans. God judges them righteously and uses Israel to carry out His judgment.
Each tribe has a measurable inheritance; they must dispossess the seed of the Nephilim and free the earth from the corruption that these people fostered. Israel must be loyal to the Lord who is giving them the land or else they will become subject to outside rule again.
