21 Days to a Victorious Life

DAY 11 OF 21

Day 11 - Let your budget inspire you
We hear it all the time… we must spend within our budgets, but what does that really mean? Many people spend aimlessly without preparing a budget and as a result, they usually come up short in their financial goals.
Creating a Budget
A budget is simply a listing of expected income and expenses for a period of time. A budget should be prepared at the beginning of the month or periodically with the understanding that it is a flexible and moving document. You should budget for all expected expenses. A budget serves as a roadmap to help reach financial goals. The Bible also encourages us to budget before spending, read Luke 14:28-30.
Get Inspired
Now this may seem out of the norm to some, but I am a visionary type of person. Not only do I prepare a monthly budget, but I also enjoy preparing an inspirational budget. You will be amazed by the power of simply writing your thoughts on paper. Doing so will ensure that your vision will come to pass. It is inspired from one of my favorite scriptures, Habakkuk 2:2, “Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.”
It is my little inspiration to envision what I desire my future budget will be. I call it my inspiration for several different reasons. It provides me a clear vision to determine where I am headed; inspiration to keep pressing knowing I will obtain the victory; and a constant reminder to understand small sacrifices will provide big rewards in the future. Consider putting your inspiration budget somewhere you can see it each and everyday.
More importantly, if you want to obtain victory over your financial life, consider making steps toward living within your budget, creating an inspiration budget and you will see God do great things in your life!

About this Plan

21 Days to a Victorious Life

21 Days of Victorious Living is designed to provide daily devotions to walk in victory. In God's Word, He says we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Not in some areas of our lives, but in all areas. It is His will that our souls (salvation), wealth (finances) and affairs (relationships) align with God. It is in this place, we will obtain victory after victory!
