After demonstrating His destructive power over Egypt, God also demonstrates His protective power over Israel. It must have been terrifying to have the Egyptian Army bearing down on them but they went from slavery to victory over the greatest army on earth without using a single weapon except obedience.

The safest place to be is doing what God says. It doesn’t always feel that way in the moment but it is true.
