When Jacob dies, Joseph’s brothers are concerned Joseph will now get his revenge. In verses 19 and 20, Joseph lets them know he sees everything that has happened to him as part of God’s plan. In Ephesians 2:10, it says, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.” We have been created for a purpose we can’t always see. We don’t know which way our lives will go but God does. We need to wait for His plan to come about.
