Praying For Strengthنموونە
DAY TWO: Rise Up!
The Lord is inviting you and me into a place where the impossible becomes possible. It’s a place of victory.
When our “little strength” is coupled with prayer and faith, we can be assured that the Lord will lead us exactly where He wants us to be and we will do what He wants us to do.
The little strength that you have can either make you cower in fear, or it can make you confident that God’s strength and power working through you is all you need!
When the Lord brought His people out of Egypt, there was no question that the heavens and everything on the earth were subject to Him. God’s faithfulness was on display and present in the midst of His people.
Sadly—even after all the miracles God’s people had seen over the years—when the time came to cross the border and claim the place of promise that God had given them, they cowered in their own littleness! Instead of walking through the open door in God’s strength, they ran in fear that their little strength was no match for the giants in the land. The children of Israel forgot who God was, and instead of relying on Him to be their strength, they turned inward and were overcome with fear!
Whenever you turn inward, you are in trouble! You need to turn upward—you need to raise your hands to heaven and pray for strength to walk through the open doors that He has set before you. Though your strength is small, you are invited to arise and pass through into a place of victory that is already prepared for you. We don’t have to fight for it; the fight has already been won. We have to enter into it by faith.
