Sharing the Good News

Our motivation and boldness to share the good news, is based on the following convictions:

• God’s love for every human being
• Christ’s completed work on the cross
• The Holy Spirit’s current work in people’s lives
• Every believer is called to be Christ’s agent

GOD’S LOVE

When you talk to someone about Jesus, remember God loves them.  Scripture is very clear that God chose to reconcile humanity with Him even when we were sinners and enemies living in hostility to Him.

Romans 5:10 ESV  “For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by His life.”

CHRIST’S COMPLETED WORK

Humanity has been included in the work initiated by God the father, and accomplished through the obedience of the Son Jesus Christ.  As we were included in the damage done by Adam, equally so, and even much more, we are included in the triumph and victory of Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:17 NKJV “For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.”
