Faith. Love. Hope. 21-day Plan By Doxa Deoنموونە
Addressing the Pain of our city
Once we have become aware of the PAIN of our community, we must identify what we fundamentally want to see changed. What stubborn realities need to be addressed by a loving, Christ-centred community?
This leads to compassionate involvement that creates opportunity for the church to serve the city. One of the major areas of pain around the world stems from broken families and the implications that flow socially from this. Ministering to health in marriage and family will help our communities in almost every way.
We live in a world where both kinds of people live, the people who have enough and the people who hardly have anything. The second kind of people cannot even afford the basic requirements. We can assist the poor to achieve the essentials of life.
We need to reach out to the poor, the migrant, the homeless, the addict or alcoholic, widows and orphans. The marginalized and disenfranchised in society should be a natural focus for the church to serve. Every time we reach out to serve the city we are being the light of Christ relieving the Pain of our City.
Love revives a tired world.
Are you aware of any ministries in your community serving the disempowered people of your community?
How can you get involved?
