Take Your Place!نموونە
Your Inheritance
No matter what’s happened in your life, you haven’t lost your place in Christ, and therefore you haven’t lost your inheritance either. Ephesians 1:11 says, “In Him we have also obtained an inheritance.” Galatians 3:29 says, “And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” If you have received Jesus as your Savior, then you are His heir and you have an inheritance.
If your grandfather passed away and left you an inheritance, not long after his death there might be a reading of his most recent will and testament. This legal document would declare your grandfather’s wishes for the disbursing of his estate, specifically naming the recipients of his possessions, rights, and obligations. It is a way for him to speak from beyond the grave and say, “It’s my will for you to have this.”
This is exactly what happened when Jesus died, except that His will and (new) testament are available to anyone who will receive Him and become a member of the family. His will, which leaves an inheritance to you, is more binding in the kingdom of heaven than your grandfather’s will is here on earth. There is no contesting God’s will and testament. It is settled forever in heaven.
The good news is the will hasn’t changed because of your circumstances, and it never will. The inheritance is still available for anyone who will step up and say, “Yes, that’s mine.”
I want to be one of those Christians who believes God’s promises and steps up to receive them, don’t you? The truth is that Jesus is Lord, and you are seated with Him. Your inheritance is completely intact. It belongs to you! No one can take it away.
Moreover, your inheritance is more than enough to provide for your needs, protect you, and help you fulfill God’s plan in the earth. Ephesians 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” You have everything you need to live a life of victory.
Jesus has given us authority to go into all the world and represent Him to those who don't know Him. You have a place and a calling, and your inheritance is intact.
