SAYING 10: DON'T WASTE YOUR BREATH
Have you ever given someone advice that fell on deaf ears? Have you ever asked, "How do I get through to this person?!" Have you ever been that person?
Solomon teaches us that there is such a thing as a fool. A fool is someone who does not listen, who does not heed instruction. The only way a fool learns is by suffering the full consequences of his or her actions. But life doesn't have to be this way. We don't have to only learn from blowing it. We can choose to learn from the experiences of those who have gone before us. That is why one of the most important things you can do in life is listen.
As for the people who refuse to listen, the best thing we can do is let them be. Some people choose to learn the hard way, and you don't have to be there when that happens. Don't become a fool and do not invest in a fool. Your conversations matter. Your words and your time are valuable, which is why you must exercise wisdom and discernment when it comes to what conversations you have and with whom.

ACTION
Think of someone who has taken the time to have hard conversations with you. Shoot them a text or call them. Thank them for their investment. Let them know it was not wasted.
PRAYER
Is there someone in your life that you've been wasting your breath on? Is it a relationship you just need to let go of? Pray God would give you discernment when to walk away from a bad situation that will only get worse.
