What Happens When Grace Walks Inنموونە
Grace Reveals Our True Identity
God chose us in Him before the world was formed. He purposed for us to be holy and blameless. He adopted us into his covenant family. He made this possible through Christ. He not only chose us, but He planned it beforehand. We weren’t an afterthought. To me, there is such a sweetness here.
Do you ever feel left out and alone? Does it seem like the world has passed you by? You can be assured that your Redeemer has not. Maybe you feel not only left out, but weak and small. This is not a problem for Jesus. He purposely seeks out the common and draws our heart to Him.
His purpose in blessing us is to draw out our hearts in praise to Him. These good and perfect gifts are the foundation of who we are and the only measure of our worth that matters. When we preach the gospel to our own hearts, we are wonderfully reminded that Christ wins every time and in everything. And because we are in Him, we do too.
How do our hearts hold the blessings? They cannot contain them. We receive them, give thanks, and bless his holy name. It’s the very name He has beautifully written on our hearts.
Grace reveals our true identity:
- We might feel undesirable, but God calls us Chosen.
- We might struggle with fear, but in Christ we are Free.
- We might be tormented by insecurity, but God whispers to our hearts: Blameless.
Who wants that girl?
Jesus wants that girl. And He died to make it true.
