Note 2 Chronicles 4:5: A bath is approximately 5.8 gallons or 22 liters. The quantity of 3,000 baths mentioned here seems to include the 1,000 baths required for 10 mobile lavers on carts. Normally the large laver seems to contain 2,000 baths (1 Kings 7:26).
