7 Stages Of Grief After Miscarriageنموونە
Out of the seven stages of grief, I struggled the most with anger. I couldn’t comprehend why God would allow other women to have children they were going to harm and neglect, but not allow me to keep a baby that was loved and very wanted.
That line of thinking became toxic because it only fueled my anger. Ultimately, I was playing God but I was operating out of a selfish and wounded mentality.
After a miscarriage, it is very normal to feel anger and frustration towards God. Our enemy, Satan, is going to do everything he can to fuel those feelings within you. He wants you to take your anger out on God in hopes that this will sever your relationship with Him. Our enemy is going to whisper to you that your miscarriage was God’s fault, He wasn’t there for you and He didn’t help you because He doesn’t love you.
The truth is, we live in a fallen world. When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, death entered our world. But God is still good even when bad things happen to us. He cannot change or deviate from who He is. After a crisis like miscarriage, it is very important that we not allow the enemy to poison our hearts and thoughts with anger.
From Genesis 3 to Revelation 20 we are shown the dangers of allowing anger to linger in our lives. I like to picture anger like a window. When I am angry, the window opens. While the window is open, it allows things to exit, but it also allows things to enter.
In Ephesians 4:27 Paul tells us not to give the devil a foothold in our lives. When anger is in our heart, our window is open which allows the enemy to enter, thus creating a foothold. The opening does not have to be very big, our enemy can squeeze through the smallest opening. Anger will not produce anything positive, only frustration, envy and strife.
If you are holding onto anger right now, I want to encourage you to give it to God. Picture yourself kneeling at His Throne and laying your anger and frustrations at His feet and then leave it there when you walk away. You may have to do this several times a day until you no longer carry this anger. God can handle all your emotions! Don’t carry it alone, give it to Him.

About this Plan
The heartache that follows a miscarriage has the potential to draw us closer to God or away from Him. Our enemy, Satan, wants to take our raw emotions and lure us as far from God as he possibly can. Only God can offer the peace and healing our hearts desire. This plan will identify the seven stages of grief and guide women to find true healing within God’s Word.
