God's Gift of Money: Devotions from Time of Graceنموونە
Your cash is trash
Money is a wonderful tool, isn’t it? It is a lever of power--it makes things happen. We can trade it for food, mechanical transportation, clothing, and a home.
Money is a wonderful tool, but it makes a terrible master. People who become addicted to it find it a fickle and abusive lover. It promises happiness if you only get more, but more only leaves you wanting still more.
It will be taken from you when you die. All of it. It will not be available to you when you stand before your Maker to give account for the way in which you spent your life. “Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath” (Proverbs 11:4). “Whoever trusts in his riches will fall” (11:28).
What now? See your money as God’s gift. He is the owner, you are the manager. Invest it in His kingdom, in service to others, in taking care of your family, and in leaving a legacy. Look at your heavenly Father as your real security and trust His clear promises to take care of you. And make Jesus Christ your greatest treasure. He alone is what you need on the day of wrath.

About this Plan
All our blessings, including money and material possessions, come from God; we are only managers of His blessings. We can express our love and trust for Him in the way that we use what He has given to us.
