 1836 BC Barren Rebekah miraculously bears twins, Esau and Jacob. In 1821 BC Abraham dies (175). In 1760 BC Jacob (76) tricks ailing Isaac into giving him the patriarchal blessing in accordance with God’s plan.

Note: Before the twins’ birth God told Rebekah that the younger was His choice. Isaac would have known this but he let his stomach dictate to his spirit and he favored Esau.
