Jesus is a great example of humility. He left the glory of heaven to become a man - and not even a well-respected one. Those who have the same kind of humility continue in their faith without complaining. They are an example of how to live the Christian life well.

Christ’s level of humility is not one we often reach, but it should be one we desire. When insulted, disrespected or ignored, remember Christ suffered much more and did so willingly on our behalf. Do you feel God owes you a comfortable life, or would you suffer for Jesus like Paul?
