We get a very brief description of Jesus’ resurrection. From verse 9 to the end of the chapter, it is not clear if this was originally part of Mark. Leaving it in or taking it out has no impact on our beliefs about Jesus.

Jesus didn’t stay dead. Although he died for us, he also showed His power over death and our sin by rising again. We don’t live in the defeat of his death, but in the power of his resurrection!
