Redefine The Grindنموونە
Planning is one of the best tools that you have at your disposal when it comes to the daily grind. You have to set time aside for yourself to think about what you need to accomplish. It is important to take it one day at a time and have a game plan, whether your grind will be at the office or at home.
I attribute much of my success to my morning schedule. Every morning, I wake up around 5, and I will then immediately get up and grab my bible. I start each and every day studying the word of God. It is only after I have studied the word for some time that I will begin to check my emails and respond to them accordingly.
I believe that by doing this, it gives me an advantage during my grind. It relaxes me and helps me to wake up with a sense of peace. Reading my Bible sharpens my mind and provides me with the ability to take a step back and look at the big picture. I know that however my day goes, whatever the outcome may be, God is there to watch over me and to support me.
This is very important for me. As the owner of my company, I am in charge of over fifty other individuals. I am the captain of the ship, and it is my duty to lead them safely. With the Lord as my example, I have a much higher chance at doing this successfully.
This inner peace carries with me throughout my day. It keeps me grinding, but prevents me from grinding out!
Only after I have finished reading from my Bible will I then begin to get out of bed and start preparing for my day. My morning acts as the calm before the storm of the day. It gives me a few moments to compose myself and reminds me of God’s will. I recommend taking the time to read over God’s word and apply it to your grind, as it will take off much quicker.
Do you take the time to plan your day out?

About this Plan
The daily grind of life can take its toll. Overworking yourself day in and day out will leave you feeling exhausted and unfulfilled. Unless we are able to redefine the grind and repurpose our actions, we will grind ourselves to dust. In this plan, David Villa discusses how God helps him during times in which he feels like giving up. It is time to redefine the grind; here’s how!
