Change Your Mind From Employee To Entrepreneurنموونە
The mental transition is difficult, but possible
The transition from being an employee to venturing out as an entrepreneur will be difficult; however, it can be done. Remember in the Bible when the children of Israel were enslaved in Egypt? They gave up their freedom to Egypt for protection against financial struggle (aka famine), and Egypt gladly made the trade with them. Israel would work, and Egypt would provide.
However, God wanted his chosen people to be free, so he sent Moses to lead them to a promised land, a land where they could be entrepreneurs and provide for themselves. This sounds good to me, but the transition was hard. On the way there, they began to complain and long for the days when they were in Egypt - Exodus 16:3.
On the way to the Promised Land, there was a wilderness, a place where the certainty of a paycheck every two weeks, the comfort of paid days off, and the security of a retirement plan didn’t exist. In the wilderness, you have to trust God and your ability to hear from God regarding everything you do.
God tried to change the Israelites' mind-set by providing them with only enough food for one day. Every day they would gather enough food for the current day and nothing for the next - Exodus 16:4. Each day they had to trust that God would provide.
They ultimately could not break the mind-set of working for Egypt. Therefore, with no other recourse, God allowed that generation of Israelites to die in the wilderness.
And with them died the negative thought process of being enslaved. In their place was born a new generation of Israelites who hadn't grown up in slavery and who made the transition from slave to master because their minds were not burdened with thoughts of the past.
Likewise, do not be burdened by past thoughts of being an employee. Instead, change your mind-set into becoming an entrepreneur.

If your mind is not changed, you will struggle in your calling. This 3-day devotional provides scriptural guidance in changing your mind from employee to entrepreneur.
