Faith, Works And God’s Abundant Graceنموونە
Hold onto God's Word
When somebody gives us their word, we often take it pretty seriously. Here in India, kids have a habit of saying, “Promise!” and laying their hand on a friend’s palm to show they truly intend to keep their word. In business, a firm handshake seals a deal or an understanding between two parties.
In the Bible, we find many instances of God giving us His word. Some of it may be generic, but there are personal promises God might have given you over the years.
You can be assured that if God said something, He will follow it through. When you are faithful in what you need to do, God will bless your efforts and bring His promises to fruition in your life.
God’s word formed the galaxies, created life, spun molecules into stunning crystals and caused the planets to hang from practically nothing in space.
God’s word has a creative ability. If you have a word from God, hold on to it tightly. Let His promises impregnate you and cause His vision to grow in you.
You don’t have to worry about government policies and the current job market. Your only concern should be that the word of God remains active in your life. Heaven and earth may be swept away, but no one can move a word from God out of its timing.
God’s word will fulfil the purpose for which it has been sent; it will not return void. No person, plan or situation can move a promise of God out of its purpose. Airplanes may go off course and missiles may miss their targets, but God’s word will always find the right person at the right time.
Just a word from Jesus healed the sick servant from afar, caused Peter to walk on water, and calmed the wind and the waves.
One word from God can change everything. God’s word in you will come alive. What you believe will soon become a reality because God always keeps His promises.
If you haven’t received a word from God for your life and your future, get one. God has great plans for your life. Seek Him and He’ll reveal His word for you that will never fail.
