God's Not Dead: A Light In Darknessنموونە
Recently, in the middle of the night, the fire alarm battery in our toddler’s room died. In the middle of the night, I was shaken awake to the screams of “moooommm” being yelled across the house. I didn’t think twice... I shot out of bed and without turning on lights or tripping on a toy, I made it swiftly to his bedside to care for his needs.
When we spend time in the light, we can actually see things for their true value. Even though the lights were off, mentally I knew where I needed to go to get to where I needed to be.
Imagine if we had this kind of mental focus in sharing the light of the gospel with those who are in darkness.
God's not dead, but there are many people who are living in darkness. If we are going to bring the light to more people, we have to spend time in the light so we are prepared to bring the true reflection of our Heavenly Father.
Today, schedule out your coming week's devotional times. Make it a priority to spend time with God - the Light of life.
Take a moment to be encouraged by the song, "Collide" by Landry Cantrell from the God's Not Dead: A Light in Darkness Movie.
