Distraction & Temptation: Choose To Stay With God

DAY 4 OF 5

Moment by Moment

My lovely one, how wonderful it is to be with you. Transitions are hard, aren’t they? Trying to keep up—one moment to the next. Going this way and that way.. . I know your story. I know what’s ahead. How often do you think about that—that I know what’s ahead?

This moment. . . Now, this moment. . . Oh, girl, stay.

Where does worry get you? How does it help? It hurts my heart to see how you strive, how you work so hard on your own.

Daughter, do nothing on your own.

Confess it now. Lay down all the times you walked your own way without Me. Lay burdens down now—the ones you didn’t even know you were carrying.

Daughter, you are made to move freely, without burdens. No matter what this moment holds, or the next one, I lighten your load. I am the steadfast one, the one who does not turn. I go forward into the moments ahead, preparing the way. Now walk in the way prepared for you.

Look for Me and find Me.

Do not bow low that weary head. Look up. Look up at Me. Look at Me. I am here, delighting in you. I hold these moments, more precious than any jewel. Let me show you how to perceive a moment with Me. Let me show you what freedom looks like, feels like, sounds like. All you have to do: Participate in the moments with Me. Experience life with Me.

Dance through now, child. A solid walking through hardship and uncertainty and love and freedom and my grace. Oh, how I give you myself—love and hope and grace.

You are not alone. Oh, no, never alone.

This moment, and this moment . . .

This moment, remember, I spend with you.
