The Psalm 112 Promiseنموونە
DAY 3: Be Fixed and Established
“He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. His heart is established; he shall not be afraid, until he sees triumph upon his enemies. He has given away freely; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn shall be exalted with honor. The wicked shall see it and be grieved; he shall gnash his teeth and melt away; the desire of the wicked shall perish.”—Psalm 112:7-10
Psalm 112 believers are not fearful people. They are not afraid of bad news and evil tidings. They have great expectations about their lives because they have put their trust in the Lord. We cannot prosper if there is fear in our lives. Fear immobilizes us and keeps us from living in freedom and peace.
That is not prosperity. Prosperity is having good relationships, not being a loner and being isolated. The Bible says Psalm 112 believers are not afraid because their hearts are fixed, trusting in the Lord. They are not doubting, wavering, or struggling with unbelief. They trust God. This is the key to being stable-minded.
The Psalm 112 believer’s heart is established. These individuals trust in God, knowing He is their protector and deliverer. Psalm 112 believers don’t have to worry about anything coming against them. They know that if God is for them, who can be against them? (Romans 8:31). These believers are stabilized and confident not in themselves but in God.
You cannot prosper without addressing this area of your life. The by-product of being fixed and established is victory over demons such as foolishness, destruction, procrastination, and confusion. Stability, steadfastness, and single-mindedness are the core and foundation of a prosperous believer’s life.
