Put Not Your Trust in Princes

Praise the Lord, O my soul!

2I will praise the Lord #Ps. 63:4; [Ps. 145:2] as long as I live;

# Ps. 104:33 I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.

3 # Ps. 118:9 Put not your trust in princes,

on that very day his plans perish.

the sea, and all that is in them,

9 # [Ex. 22:21] The Lord watches over the sojourners;

but #[Ps. 147:6]the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.

your God, O Zion, to all generations.
