Persevereu en l’amor fratern No us oblideu de practicar l’hospitalitat; gràcies a ella, alguns, sense saber-ho, van acollir àngels. Recordeu-vos dels presos com si fóssiu presos amb ells; recordeu-vos igualment dels qui són maltractats, pensant que també vosaltres teniu un cos. Que tothom honori el matrimoni i guardi immaculada la vida conjugal: Déu judicarà els libidinosos i els adúlters. Que l’amor al diner no inspiri la vostra conducta; acontenteu-vos amb el que teniu, ja que Déu mateix ha dit: No et deixaré, no t’abandonaré . Així podrem dir amb tota confiança: El Senyor m’ajuda, res no em fa por; els homes, què em poden fer? Feu memòria dels vostres dirigents, que us van anunciar la paraula de Déu; considereu el resultat de la seva vida i imiteu la seva fe.
