He Calls Us By Nameনমুনা
The Wolf
This is a warning. We have an enemy and his main objective is to steal, kill, and destroy. He will often pose as a sheep trying to blend into the flock. It’s extremely important for us to know God’s Word and to know who God is and who He’s not. Something can look a lot like light, but if it doesn’t line up with the Word of God, then it is darkness and will lead you down a dangerous path. God will never ask you to do something that is outside the boundaries of His Word. He cannot contradict Himself. Remember that our enemy is conniving, sneaky, and very manipulative. In the Garden of Eden, back in Genesis, when the serpent first comes on the scene, he asks Eve, “Did God really say...?” He twists the Word of God and plants seeds of doubt.
1 John 4:1 says, “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” If anyone is confused or needs clarity, God tells us in the Bible that we are to ask Him and He will reveal His truths to us (James 1:5). As we seek Jesus, we’ll find Him and we’ll recognize what is from Him and what is not from Him. If someone looks like a sheep and acts like a sheep, but is twisting the Scriptures...Run! There’s a wolf in your pen.

About this Plan
Humans are a lot like sheep. Just like sheep, we need a shepherd to guide us on the paths of life. Jesus is our Good Shepherd. He calls us by name, leads us out of bondage, finds us when we’re lost, knows us intimately, and keeps us from harm. He not only leads us, He loves us. Jesus laid down His life for us. Join me in this five-day study as we explore different ways Jesus shepherds us.
