Love God Greatly - You Are Lovedনমুনা
John Piper helps explain these verses with this truth: “God is so supremely in charge of the world that all the things that happen to Christians are ordered in such a way that they serve our good. Tribulation and distress and persecution and famine and nakedness and peril and sword all work together for the good of those who love God.”
So, will our lives be free from trouble? No… we live in a sin-filled world. But, we can TRUST that God’s hand is in control of all things, and that because of His great mercy, He will use whatever comes our way for our good and His glory.
Instead of looking for a way out of our troubles today, what if we asked God to use those trials for our good, and for His glory? We can ask this in confidence, knowing that for those who love God, all things DO work together for good.
