Take The Lid Off 7-Day Reading Planনমুনা
If we’re natural visionaries, we need to take time to develop a workable strategy. If we’re analytical and cautious, we need a fresh injection of hope that a venture will make a difference. We may come from different points, but sooner or later, we need to take action. The first step may be bold, or it may be halting. The important thing is to take the step regardless of the outcome. There are no guarantees. Almost always, we’ll make mistakes, but we can learn from them. We’ll make midcourse corrections and keep moving forward.
Sometimes, the initiative isn’t ours. Circumstances force us to make a move. A tragic accident, betrayal by someone we love, or a new door of opportunity comes when we least expected it. In every case, we have choices to make. Whether we initiate the choice or it’s thrust upon us, we can respond with careful thinking, courageous faith, and clear steps forward.
Up to this moment, we have been identifying the lid and putting our hands on it. Now we take the lid off and see what God will do in and through us. These are the most challenging and thrilling moments in our lives!
I’ve heard that the richest field of dreams in the world is a cemetery. Countless people lived with great hopes and plans but never acted on them. When they died, their dreams died with them. Cures for cancer, transformed families, new products, great organizations, and tender mercies are buried six feet under. Don’t be mistaken: God will accomplish His purposes with or without us. His divine plan will be fulfilled, but we have a choice: will we be His partners, or will we stand on the sidelines?
When we see it, say it, sense it, and seek it, the process will be messy—don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you experience—but it will be glorious. These four elements are always part of God’s design for His children. When we follow His path, we’ll be touched by His heart and led by His Spirit. When you follow this path, you’ll be in alignment with His purposes and His power. God is waiting for you to join Him. Don’t miss it.

About this Plan
Pastor Smokie Norful uses the analogy of a cooking pot with a lid to help readers understand how God can release the pressure in their lives. He looks at different struggles and dreams that Christians have, and he identifies ways that they can "take the lid off" to find peace and fulfillment in God's plan for them.
