Courageous Humility Pt. 1নমুনা
As we read of the Israelites singing as they exited the miry entanglement of Egypt, do we recall a time in our lives when we felt God placed a new song within us, after delivering us? Do we sense He hopes to bless us with one now? As we read Scripture in Isaiah 42 is there a song of gratitude that wells up within us because God sent His chosen Servant, Jesus Christ, to deliver us from our enemy and the grip of worshiping idols, to set us on a new path? His path. As we read of what seems to be a handful of people chosen and singing a new song only they knew the words to, are we compelled to live pure lives and follow after the Lamb (Jesus) wherever He is leading us, so we too may carry the new song to sing? Is it possible our lives are intended to be a life lived of praise and worship, not only in the songs we sing, but the lives we live – a sweet aroma to the Lord {Psalm 141:2, 2 Corinthians 2:15}? I believe so. I believe He’s ready to bless us with a new song to sing unto Him. Will we courageously receive it?
Prayer: Lord, as we meditate on Your Words this morning, we see You bless Your people with a new song, a song of praise, as Your redeemed. In the days of Moses, Isaiah the prophet and John as he witnessed visions in Revelation – Your Word depicts a new song. Like the Psalmist in chapter 40 verse 3, bless our lives with a new song. A song of praise to You for all that You have done, all that You are doing, and all that You will do. Position our hearts to receive the song You have for us. Soften the hardened places. Water the dry places. Cast Your light on the darkened places. Allow the lyrics of Your song in our lives to be known and give us the courage to accept them as Your gift to us. In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen!
About this Plan
Be strong. Be Alert. Be Courageous. These words are the premise of this 30 day study where you will uncover God's desire for you to call out to Him and trust He will hear. Not only hear, but set you on sure footing, a path He sets before you, for your sake and the sake of those around you. From there you will dig into Scripture around what it means to courageously step into God's presence, how to do so, and what you can expect as a result of going into His presence. Finally, you will be encouraged to step towards the healing Christ offers, both individually, and as the collective Bride of Christ. Each day you will be encouraged to ask questions, seek answers in God and His Word, and identify the step YOU sense the Holy Spirit compelling you to take. Courage accompanies ACTION, and Christ reveals to us where to move next, while the Holy Spirit empowers us to do so!
