The Word Of God Planনমুনা
Psalm 1
For the next 5 days you will read Psalm 1. This powerful Wisdom Psalm serves as an introduction to the entire book of Psalms. It is a psalm that contrasts the wicked person with the Godly person. Psalm 1 contains powerful images of living life nourished by God’s Word (described as “the law of the Lord” in verse 2).
Read the psalm for the first time to get familiar with it. Then go back and read it more slowly. Find a word or phrase that catches your eye and then slowly repeat that word to keep it in your memory. Talk to God about what the psalm means as it relates to your thoughts, needs or feelings.
What is the good news in this passage?
Remember, God is with you in his Word as you go over Psalm 1.
The Bible is not an end in itself, but a means to bring men to an intimate and satisfying knowledge of God, that they may enter into Him, that they may delight in His Presence, may taste and know the inner sweetness of the very God Himself in the core and center of their hearts.
