Becoming A Catalyst For Changeনমুনা
TWO GENERATIONS CAN BRING REVIVAL AND TRANSFORMATION
Psalm 24:6 says that there will be a generation who will seek the face of God. If we look at today’s generation, we can say that it has a unique DNA. It is global, digital, and extreme. It is restless and hungry for a cause that matches their great potential. Is it possible that God has been waiting for a generation like this? Could it be that God has set up this generation to bring about the biggest revival and transformation in the end times? It is time we recognize this and secure their destiny.
The generation today is hungry for a transfer, but the question is, what are we transferring?
The stories of Hezekiah and Manasseh (2 Kings 18,21) and of Josiah, Jehoahaz and Jehoiakim (2 Kings 22-23) are classic examples that the successors of great leaders can become their total opposites. What went wrong, you may ask? Hezekiah and Josiah failed to secure the next generation. They were not able to prepare the ones next in line for the spiritual heritage they enjoyed. Hezekiah prepared freedom for Manasseh, but he did not prepare him for freedom. Josiah prepared freedom for the people, but wasn’t able to prepare the people for freedom.
It is in the heart of God to bring revival and transformation, and the key to this is INTENTIONAL GENERATIONAL TRANSFER from the current generation to the next—the transfer of God’s heart, of visions, dreams, and even anointing.
Could it be that God has set up this generation for a global revival? Could this be the generation God has been waiting for?
