Walking With Godনমুনা

DAY TWENTY TWO
The Forces of Life
Many Christians are crying out for more faith, love, and power; but God has already given us these things. The problem has been that many people have just let these forces of life lie dormant. God has given us these forces (or fruit) designed to work in our lives and produce great results. It is like a guy who has a million dollars in the bank and never learns how to write a check. He is living in poverty, not being able to take advantage of his resources.
The Bible says that God has already caused the love of God to be shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. Where is God going to get any more love? He has filled us with Himself, and the Bible says that God is love.
There are people who pray for more faith. The Bible says that God has dealt to every man the measure of faith. We have received faith the moment we were born again.
In Proverbs, we see that we are to protect our spirit. It says to keep your heart with all DILIGENCE. It did not say to be a lazy Christian. I have seen many lazy Christians who are mad at the ones winning. They have the same potential that any of us have, but the difference between us is that we tap into our potential, and they don't.
God could care less where you came from, what your name is, or your background. He doesn't have one child in His family who was born a loser. EVERY child of God is a potential winner.
If God has given us the potential to win, how do we tap into it? The Bible is not a "you ought to" book, but it is a "here's how you do it" book. Proverbs 4:23 says, "Keep thy heart with all diligence." THAT IS WHERE ALL THE POTENTIAL LIES. Diligence is a word that many people do not like because it means work. You'll work much harder when you start living by faith, but you'll also never have so much fun.
Proverbs 4:23 goes on to say, "... out of it (the heart or spirit) are the issues of life." Another translation says, "Protect thy spirit with all diligence, for out of your spirit flow the forces of life."
Look at Galatians 5:22-23:
But the fruit (or the forces) of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance; against such there is no law.
Love is a strong force. The Bible says that the love of God never fails. The flesh wants to retaliate, but if you let the force of love flow out of you, you will always come out the winner. Love is already dwelling in you, but you need to learn how to tap into it. It is an act of your will.
The Bible says that God is LONG suffering. If He wasn't, He would have given up on us a long time ago. We have blown it so many times, but God is L O N G suffering. The Bible says that we are partakers of His divine nature; therefore, we should be men and women of patience.
The force of joy is very powerful. It is the THRUST behind faith. The Bible tells us to count it all joy when we fall into divers temptations. He is saying that the force of joy will really pay off when you are under pressure. Yes, that is the hardest time to have joy, but just try it. You'll see. The devil hates it when he comes against you with a trial, and you have joy during it. YOU CANNOT BE DEFEATED when the force of JOY is being released in your life.
Every one of these fruits are spiritual forces, and they reside in you. You do not have to pray for them, they're already yours. You have to tap into them. You have to learn how to exercise them and release them. The Word of God develops all the fruit. Don't let the forces of life lie dormant in your life—BE DILIGENT!
