Prayer Journalনমুনা
Hello again! Feel free to spend a moment preparing your heart before the Lord and reviewing the previous entries in your prayer journal.
Today, we are going to reflect on 1 John 5:14. Find a new page and write the verse at the top.
“And we are confident that He hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases Him.”
1 John 5:14 (NLT)
Below the verse, write, “God, if it pleases You, would You…?”
Then, spend some time praying according to God’s will and write 2 to 3 things you’d like to see God do in your life or in the lives of someone you care about. Be sure to leave room so you can come back to this page and add to it on another day.
On the next page, write “Answered Prayers” and begin to list a few of the prayers God has answered. For example, I prayed that someday I’d have my own family, and although the parenting journey has been bumpy and has included miscarriage, conflicts, and other hurts, God answered my prayer.
Ta-da. Another journal entry has been started! A cool thing about this prayer journal is that it will be a gift to yourself. On a day when you’re not sure what to pray, or you are having a tough time, you can remind yourself who you are, a prayer warrior. You can return to this journal and read through the prayers. Spoiler alert, you will be praying as you read!
Let’s pray.
God,
Thank You for hearing us. You don’t have to care about us, yet You do. We love and need You. Forgive us for forgetting to come back, and thank You for the many blessings and answered prayers we have received. Thank You for hearing us and for answering us according to Your will. Your will truly is perfect and is best for our wellbeing.
Amen
