Good Gifts From God

The gifts we have are a gift from God. We must recognize that the supernatural ability God has given us is not for us to boast and use for our advancement and glory. Instead, these gifts have been given to us to steward well and help show God’s love to others.

Every time we use our gifts, we must recognize that it would not be possible without the power of God working in us. Christ reminded His disciples in the book of John that He is the vine, and we are the branches. Apart from Him, we can do nothing.

Remember to give God the credit and honor each time you’re given the opportunity to use your gifts. Scripture encourages us: “Those who exalt themselves will be humbled, but those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

Let’s give God all the praise, honor, and glory for enabling us to use our gifts to minister to His new covenant!

Action Step: Find a way today to use one of your spiritual gifts to serve God. Remember, apart from Him, our gifting means nothing. Our connection to Him is what gives us meaning!
