Strengthen Your Faith #4 a New Lifeনমুনা
A Radical Change
This plan is designed to help you better understand the new life that Jesus spoke of to Nicodemus.
The desire to experience this new life, in every aspect of our existence, comes from living according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
The new life is not only a spiritual transformation, but also a new way of living.
God sent His Son, who took human nature upon Himself and, through His death and resurrection, conquered sin and death, transforming you into new creatures.
This transformation occurs in baptism, in which, through the Holy Spirit, Christ incorporates us into Himself.
By uniting us to His death and resurrection, He works our salvation and gives us new life, infusing us with Grace.
Saint Paul reminds us that, through baptism, we have become part of a single body in Christ.
Jesus, through the gift of His Spirit, makes us brothers, gathered from every part of the world in a single body.
In this body, the life of Christ spreads in us in a profound and mysterious way, creating a connection between each of us and with Him. Thus, we become members of a single community, linked by vital and spiritual relationships.
The new life in the Spirit also involves a transformation in our relationships. Our relationship with God the Father becomes more intimate based on filial love.
In the same way, our relationship with Jesus leads us to live no longer for ourselves, but centered on Him.
The Holy Spirit guides us to live a personal and concrete experience of God and pushes us to serve Christ in an authentic way.
This renewal also touches our relationships with others: we learn to live in brotherly love, as the first Christians testified: "See how they love one another!".
Our belonging to the Church calls us to follow our pastors with docility.
Finally, our relationship with the world is renewed since we are called to return it to God in Christ.
