Abraham, go out

Abraham's call is incredible especially in terms of faith. Abraham gave up everything he had because one day God told him to leave his land.

Try to imagine, he didn't know who God was, he had never seen or heard Him, he lived in an environment strongly influenced by idolatry, yet he trusts that voice that tells him to go out. And in fact he leaves his land without a destination and begins a journey of powerful change, enough to transform his entire existence and that of the entire world. He doesn't know the destination, he simply has faith in that wonderful voice.

Nevertheless, God makes him the father of a people and much more, the father of all believers in Jesus.

As for Abraham, something great and wonderful is reserved for us too. Like Abraham, we are called to leave our mental patterns, our bad habits, our home and our comforts. God's plan in us requires a yes without buts or whys.
