Ephesians 6:14 "...Stand your ground …”
Before we begin to look into the pieces of armor, we notice the Holy Spirit reminds us first that to be fully armored up is to stand our ground. So what does this look like on a faith adventure, in our real lives? It could be deciding to believe the Word even when the circumstances change. It could be choosing praise instead of complaining, or declaring a promise while you wait.
The words, "stand your ground" suggest that you already have territory. Maybe in your health or finances, you have had victory and know that God is always Good. So if a battle arrives to threaten that belief, stand your ground!
Father, I thank You for the solid foundation of your Word. Help me to stand my ground, and not to waver when the storm comes. I believe that You are an Ever Present Help in every trouble.

Welcome to a season of prayer and fasting, and a 14-day Devotional to encourage you along the way. Let us each set aside some time and space to be ready to hear from Heaven. From this position, we can see new possibilities as we intentionally fix our eyes on Jesus, and discover just how powerful we are when we pray. This Devotion comes from Ephesians 6. Our prayer is that over the next few days, the Living Word will reshape our hearts and minds and we will see answers to prayer and encounters in the Word.
