Reading With the People of God #7 Commitmentনমুনা
Memorization Challenge:
6 Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them. 7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. 8 Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. (Joshua 1:6-8 NLT)
Reading Primer: Trusting God’s Wisdom and Faithfulness
This fast-paced society is full of decisions, challenges, and temptations that pull our attention in all different directions. It’s easy to find ourselves being led off track from where the Lord is trying to lead us. Today, we will take a moment to reflect on what it means to trust in God, seek His wisdom, and remain faithful to His calling on our lives.
In Psalm 49, we’re reminded that worldly wealth and success are temporary. In Joshua 9, we see the costs of not seeking God’s direction. And in 2 Timothy 4, Paul challenges us to stay on course and finish the race.
While we explore these scriptures, let's ask ourselves, “Where am I placing my trust? How am I seeking God’s wisdom? Am I faithful to God’s mission in my life? In what areas of my life am I being led astray?”
Family of God, let’s ensure we trust in God, seek His wisdom, and remain faithful to His calling on our lives and the path He is leading us on daily.

About this Plan
This is the seventh part of a reading plan through the Bible, following the lectionary pattern of reading in the Psalms, Old Testament, and New Testament each day. In addition, each day this month will feature a memorization challenge for Joshua 1:6-9 and 24:14-15, and there will be brief devotionals from different people in our Church scattered throughout the plan.
