Don't Worry About Tomorrowনমুনা
FOCUS ON GOD
Here’s the deal -- God doesn’t want you to be worried or anxious about anything. He wants you to have peace. Peace in knowing that He’s got you, and you can count on Him. Look at Philippians 4:6-7
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. (NLT)
See? God wants you to tell Him what you need each day and then keep thanking Him for the answer (that’s faith – believing something before you see it because He promised it in His Word). When you do that, you can expect His peace to carry you through to your answer. Refusing to worry is your choice.
Sure, there’s plenty to worry about if you choose to. The key is to focus on how big God is, not how big the problem is. Because the storms of life come to everyone. Jesus told us that in John 16:33, when He said, In the world you will have tribulation.
But that’s not the end of the story! At the end of that verse, Jesus finished up by saying, … But be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. He overcame the world, so you can overcome the world!
Jesus knew you’d have things to worry about, but He equipped you to overcome them, So don’t be surprised when trouble comes -- just be ready. Be full of the Word of God, and do what Philippians 4:6-7 says. Take heart in the midst of trouble because Jesus has overcome the troubles of this world so that you can overcome them, too. In Christ Jesus, you are an overcomer.
When you’re tempted to worry, take hold of God’s Word and believe what He says. He’s met all your needs and knows exactly how to carry you through your situation to victory. Fill your heart and mind with His promises, and refuse worry!
