Happily Ever After: And Everything Beforeনমুনা
It’s no secret that our emotions play a big role in our lives. For better or worse, the way we feel can determine a lot about our attitude, our outlook, our level of productivity, and so much more! In middle school specifically, those ever-changing, overwhelming emotions can be hard to keep up with. That’s true for us today, and it was true for the men and women we read about in Scripture, too.
Books of the Bible like the Psalms, a collection of songs, prayers, and poems, give us a glimpse into the way those people dealt with their big feelings in real ways. Their words remind us that we don’t have to manage them all on our own. God is our source of strength, and that means when our feelings feel too big for us to handle on our own, we can trust that God will carry us through them.
Today, take some time to listen to worship songs that encourage you to remember you’re not alone in what you’re feeling. You can even get your Small Group involved in creating a playlist to share with each other when you need that reminder.
