CRITICAL TRUTHS ABOUT MONEY (1)
Today, I want to share with you five critical truths about money that you must understand so that you don’t become a slave to money or have a wrong understanding of how to use it. The love of money has derailed many on the journey of destiny. As a believer, money should be a weapon in your hands that you engage correctly against the onslaught of hell in your divine assignment.
Five critical truths about money that you must know are:
- Always have the correct definition of wealth so that you don’t get trapped by thinking that wealth and cash are the same thing.
- You must know what money is to you, to God and the devil. Money means different things to different people. To some people, money is a status symbol; to some people, it's a tool for good; to some people, it's a tool for oppression; and it is an instrument of cohesion or release for others.
- Money is a means of expression of the nature of the owner or the possessor. Whether that person is good or bad, money will express that nature.
- Money is missionless until the owner gives it a mission: good or evil. There was once this notorious terrorist; everybody knew he was not a poor man. When you compare him with the richest man in the world, you will see that the money in their hands is doing two different missions.
- The mission of money is directly determined by the passion, values, and vision of the owner and spender. Unbelievers do not believe in the gospel, but some of them spread hope to the world through the eradication of certain diseases, yet many Christians who believe the gospel are not passionate about the spread of the gospel.
Prayer: Lord, help me to channel my resources towards the right mission God has destined for me. It will not be a tool for oppression in my hand in Jesus’ name.
