Fearfully Made – a 3-Day Devotional for Young Girlsনমুনা

Mia lived in a colorful village where the streets were lined with vibrant flowers, and the sound of laughter filled the air. One sunny afternoon, while playing in the park, Mia saw a group of kids picking on her new classmate, Lucas. Lucas looked scared and alone. Mia felt a flutter of nervousness in her stomach at the thought of standing up to the group. She remembered her Sunday school lesson, in which they learned about Joshua being strong and courageous with God’s help.

Taking a deep breath, Mia prayed silently for courage and then walked over to the group. With a gentle but firm voice, she said, "Hey, let's all play together. Lucas can join my team." The other kids were taken aback at first but soon nodded in agreement. Mia’s bravery changed the mood in the park, and soon, laughter and cheerful shouts filled the air again.

That night, Mia shared the day's events with her family. Her parents smiled proudly, reminding her, "God gives us the strength to be brave, just like He was with Joshua."

Dear girls,

Being brave doesn’t mean you aren't scared. It means doing the right thing even when you are scared. God promises to be with us, giving us the strength to stand up for what is right, just like He was with Joshua.

Sometimes, standing up might mean speaking out when you see someone being treated unfairly, or it might mean trying something new even though you’re afraid you might fail. Remember, God is with you, giving you the courage you need.

Can you think of a time when you had to be brave? How did it feel, and what did you learn from it?

Prayer:

Dear God,

Thank you for always being with us. Please give us the courage to stand up for what is right and to be brave in challenging situations. Help us to remember that with You, we can be strong and courageous.

Amen.

Think of a situation where you or someone else might need courage. Draw a picture of how you can show courage in that situation.

Girls, always remember that with God by your side, you have the strength to be brave and do great things. Tomorrow, we'll explore the power of kindness.
