Have you ever noticed the similarities you have with your friends? The more time you spend with someone, the more you start to become like each other. This is natural and how God designed us to be. Just think about trends or fashion for example. Next time you’re at school, or in a large crowd, count the number of similar shoes or outfits people wear. So what would this look like if we used this to our advantage? The answer to being more like Jesus, and living our lives in a way that would honor God, isn’t to try harder or to stop doing bad things. The answer to becoming more like Jesus is simply to spend more time with Jesus.

Today, spend time with Jesus. This could mean journaling, praying, listening to worship music, sitting in silence, or all of the above.
