Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Oneনমুনা
Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666 (Revelation 13:18).
Are you aware of the unholy trinity?
Revelation 12 begins the mid-point of the Tribulation with the expulsion of Satan from heaven. Next, we are introduced to the Antichrist. He possesses great power and imitates Jesus by dying and coming back to life. The world marvels at his prowess and asks, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?" (Revelation 13:4). (Similar questions are asked about the true God in Exodus 15:11.) Then we encounter the false prophet. His mission is to point people to the Antichrist, even as the Holy Spirit directs people to Jesus. Moreover, he fashions the abomination of desolation, which comes to life and instructs the unsaved to murder the saints (Daniel 9:27; 12:11; Matthew 24:15; Revelation 13:14-15).
Employment Point: Worship God, knowing the difference between the Trinity and the unholy trinity.

About this Plan
Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions helps readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word.
