Keep Breathing, God Is Still Working

DAY 1 OF 5

Day 1: Something Great

“Imagine if I told you

God has something great in store

You were created with a purpose

That’s the reason why you were born”

When I listen to my song “Keep Breathing 2.0” the second verse encourages me the most. I originally wrote these first four lines as a reflection of the Bible verse that I focused on to get out of depression. The Bible verse was Jeremiah 29:11 reminding me that there was a good plan for my life and that I had a purpose. It ignited my belief that those bad days weren’t going to last forever. Of course that didn’t mean I wouldn’t face bad days ever again, but it does mean that the bad days are temporary and great days are to come. The same goes for you.

God has something great in store for you. It will be amazing and beyond what you can imagine for yourself. He created the beautiful story of your life long before you were born, and He intends to see it through. All you have to do is have faith in God. Trust Him to work everything out for your good. I know that’s easier said than done. What helped me in the process was taking it one day at a time and remembering to keep breathing because if I’m still breathing then God is still working.

Prayer point:

Heavenly Father, Almighty God, thank you for having great plans in store for me. Bless me to overcome the difficulties I’m facing. Help me to trust You and know my purpose. Guide me each day of my life and increase my faith. Lord, I thank you for working everything out for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
