1 & 2 Timothy নমুনা
No matter how hard we try, there is always something someone can find about us that they don’t like. Some personal areas can be changed and improved upon, but other things like our skin color, nationality, or age are given to us by God and stick with us for life.
Timothy found himself in a situation where those older than him disliked him for something he couldn’t change - his age. They thought he was too young, and because of his age, they despised him. Instead of arguing with these fellow believers, Paul instructs Timothy to be an example. Don’t argue with them - it will go nowhere. Instead, live your life so deeply rooted in Christ for the world to see. Instead of focusing on them and their lack of support, live your life with Jesus in focus: loving others, being faithful in the little moments, and with purity of mind, heart, and body.
Dear Jesus,
When people come against me, help me to remember not to allow their words or actions to discourage me. On those days, help me to rest in You and realize the battle is Yours. Instead of fighting back, give me the courage to live my life boldly for You with increased love, faith, and purity. Amen.

About this Plan
After an encounter with Jesus, Paul was radically changed. This change led him to plant churches, go on missions, and write much of the New Testament. Two of the books he penned were letters written to a young man named Timothy. Paul wrote regarding church leadership and ministry perseverance that are powerful reminders to us today as we seek to stand firm with faith in an ungodly world.
