Walking in Wisdom Pt. 2নমুনা
Embracing Submission: The Final Cornerstone of Wisdom
The culmination of living wisely is found in a life lived submissively, as Ephesians 5:17 instructs us not to be foolish but to understand the will of the Lord. This encapsulates the Christian journey: an earnest pursuit to discern and align with God’s desires. It’s about simplifying our complex lives to a singular, profound ambition—to please God.
Ephesians 5:10 echoes this sentiment, urging us to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. This isn’t about a list of tasks or achievements but a heart posture that seeks God’s approval above all. The Apostle Paul encapsulates this in 2 Corinthians 5:9, presenting it as our ultimate ambition to be pleasing to Him, whether in this life or beyond. This ambition transcends mere compliance with divine directives; it’s about a relational, dynamic engagement with God’s will, nurtured through a humble, obedient walk with Christ.
Living submissively entails a readiness to mold our will to God’s, to see His commands not as burdens but as pathways to true freedom and fulfillment. It recognizes that every scriptural injunction is an invitation to experience God’s wisdom, love, and provision fully.
This submissive life is not one of passive resignation but active surrender, a dynamic and ongoing response to God’s revealed will through Scripture, illumined by the Holy Spirit. It’s about approaching each day, each decision, with the question, “How can I honor God in this?” It’s a life that scrutinizes the big moments and seemingly mundane ones for divine purpose and direction.
To live submissively is to embrace the full spectrum of wisdom’s call: to navigate life with careful discernment, to invest our time with an eternal perspective, to perceive our surroundings through the lens of faith, and, ultimately, to align our desires and decisions with God’s will.
As we reflect on this call to live submissively, let’s challenge ourselves to reevaluate our priorities and commitments. Are we actively seeking to understand and fulfill God’s will in our lives? Do our daily choices reflect a heart attuned to God’s desires? Let this be a moment of recommitment to align our wills with His, pursue His pleasure above all else, and embody the wisdom from a life wholly surrendered to God.
Embrace this call to live a life pleasing to God, marked by carefulness, redemption, perception, and submission. May this lead you to a deeper understanding and a more profound relationship with your Creator.
