What Jesus Said About Making Disciplesনমুনা
Discipleship and disciplemaking in Acts 2
Jesus said to the Apostles: Go and make disciples… How did they do it?
Read Acts 2:37-47. It details what happened after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
- There was preaching: Acts 2:37-38; 41.
- There was teaching: Acts 2:42 – They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching.
- The believers regularly came together for fellowship: Acts 2:42 – to the fellowship.
- The believers had meals together: Acts 2:42 and 46 – to breaking bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart.
- The believers prayed together: Acts 2:42 – and to prayer."
- There were signs and wonders: Acts 2:43 – A sense of awe came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs.
- There was generosity: Acts 2:45 – Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.
Obedience: If you say that you are a follower of Jesus, to what extent are you involved in spreading the gospel? How are you actively involved in making disciples? Jesus made it clear that we are to go and make disciples. The gospel is more than just to evangelize. We have to do both: evangelize and share the message and love of Jesus "with our hands."
Reminder: Pray for opportunities to share your testimony and the gospel with people wherever possible. Pray for at least one gospel conversation this week.

About this Plan
