God's Redemption Story (Judges - 2 Samuel)নমুনা
Ruth - 1/5
God chose Abraham and Sarah, a barren old couple, to be the father of his chosen people.
God chose Mary, a virgin, to bear his holy child.
God chose Jacob, a lying, cheater to be the Father of Israel.
God chose Ruth, a foreign widow with no societal value, to be a part of his redemption story.
God doesn’t care how the world does things. He doesn’t make his decisions based on who society values or views as worthy. God values men and women, young and old, rich and poor. Just like Ruth’s role in Christ’s genealogy was not dependent on what those around her thought, your role in God’s kingdom is not dependent on what anyone but God thinks of you.
You may not see yourself as the obvious choice. Perhaps you doubt your talents, your giftings, your heart, your experiences, your circumstances. If God can take all of these illogical choices and create a beautiful story of redemption through them, how much more can he work in and through you?
