Timeless: The Living and Enduring Word of Godনমুনা
Resist
Peter’s advice to a church in agonizing pain is as pertinent today as it was two thousand years ago.
Peter makes a promise on behalf of the Lord’s grace, promising He is able to fill our hearts with joy and our lives with purpose. God has a non-negotiable plan for His dear children. Even suffering is unable to destroy it.
The Lord is able to perfect or restore what has gone wrong in your life. He has the power and desire to put your life back in order after you have gone through personal pain or trauma. He truly is the God who works all things together for our good and His glory.
The Lord also has the authority and desire to provide a stable foundation for your life. How wonderful to know God will give you His strength when the storms of life have weakened you. The Lord provides His power to those who are battered and tired. He offers His courage to those who ask for it.
And finally, the Lord will establish you in all your ways. He will be your foundation and the Rock upon which you can build a wonderful life.
Day Seven Prayer:
Father God, today I rejoice in Your faithfulness. I thank You for the promise that You will certainly perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish me.
Use me, Father, at my moment in history, just as you used Peter. Use my voice as one of encouragement and hope. I commit to You, Lord, that I will “keep on rejoicing” every day of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
I would love to hear from you and pray for your needs. My prayer team and I read and respond to every email, so please write to me at: carol@carolmcleodministries.com.
